We understand that some of our guests prefer people to other pets, and we are happy to honor their request for separation from our other furry friends. Guests unable to safely or socially join group play will enjoy individual exercise sessions.
You are welcome to bring any personal items that will make your pet more comfortable during their stay. Please make sure to label any items if possible. **Rowdy Paws’ Pet Lodge is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
Required vaccinations are listed below. Paperwork needs to be received prior to admission to the lodge. If vaccinations are expiring within 30 days of your reservation, we are happy to update their boosters during their stay.
Dogs/Puppies: DAPPL, Rabies, and Bordetella are required
Cats/Kittens: FVRCP, FeLV, Rabies, and a Triple Test are required
In the event that your pet is a little under the weather, Dr. Baggs and the fine staff of West Brazos Animal Center are just a lasso-length away. If a different primary/preferred vet is requested, the owner is responsible for arranging transportation to that location.
In a life-threatening emergency, Rowdy Paws reserves the right to authorize treatment to preserve life until the owner or emergency contact can be reached. No additional treatment will be performed without authorization. Owners are financially responsible for any veterinary care provided.
All dogs staying at the lodge for 4 or more days will receive a complimentary exit bath prior to going home upon request *except during major holidays and peak season. (Pets picked up before 10:30am forfeit their courtesy bath. Owner can request their bath be given the night before if early pickup is needed.)

We recommend that owners provide their pet’s own pre-portioned food for their stay to prevent any tummy upsets, however our house vittles can be provided for an additional fee. (Purina Gastrointestinal Dry) **Please note — Raw diets cannot be fed in the facility.
If your pet is not spayed or neutered, he/she is welcome to stay at the lodge; however, they will not be allowed to participate in group activities with other pets.
No in-heat females will be allowed in the facility. Owner will be called to pick up guest immediately if found to be in heat. If the guest goes into heat during their stay and owner cannot pick up immediately, an in-heat charge will be added per calendar day and guest will be moved to quarantined accomodations inside the Lodge.
We understand that plans change and we will do everything we can to assist with your situation. Extensions to a reservation will be accomodated as long as we have space available. Early departures or cancellations may be charged a fee depending on the specific situation.
Family members or friends are welcome to drop off and pick up your pets with appropriate ID and a valid form of payment as long as we have written approval in our records (or verbal approval in the event of an emergency).
Oral medications will be administered at no additional charge. Injectable medications (such as insulin) can be administered; a surcharge applies. Medications must be in original packaging with patient’s name, clear instructions, and cannot be expired.
